The annual "Put It In The Bucket Swim" is held on the Breede River.

The event consists of a kids' swim (300m) and (1.6km) swim.  The event is an entire day out for the whole family and we encourage entrants to bring their families and friends to have some fun and celebrate Leigh-Anne's life.

Funds are raised by virtue of the collection of entry fees, the sale of raffle tickets and donations.

What is the Put It In The Bucket swim all about?

There is something for everyone – whether you are a professional swimmer or a doggy paddler...

There will be two swims – first one for kids, second for fun swim where you can dress up, swim on a tube, dop – anything goes!

What time does it start?

11am: Kids' swim
11:30am: 1.6km Swim

Can I bring my kids? Should I tell my non-swimming friends?

Definitely – this is a family day out, so tell everyone about it! – Bring your own drinks & picnics. We will have braai's available if you want to braai.

There will be loads of entertainment for adults and children.

What does my entry fee include?

Swimmer: Entry, goody bag, t-shirt.

What else should I know?

Allow an hour and 15 minutes to get to the river from Cape Town.
Bring cash, there is an awesome lucky draw.
All the money goes to a good cause – so spread the word.
